SUMMER WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE - Our Summer Weekend Mass schedule began on Saturday May 25th and runs through Sunday October 27th, 2024. Saturday Masses will be celebrated at 4:00pm in Fish Creek and 6:00pm in Egg Harbor.  Sunday Masses will be celebrated at 8:00am in Baileys Harbor, 10:00am in Sister Bay, 10:00am in Jacksonport and at 1:00pm on Washington Island.  Please join us!
 
SUMMER WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE FOR WASHINGTON ISLAND - Our Summer Weekend Mass schedule is now in effect and runs through October 27th, 2024. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Sundays at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1763 Townline Road on Washington Island.  Please contact Larry or Diane Kahlscheuer at (920)847-2289 or 920-535-0551 with questions or for more information. SUMMER DAILY MASS SCHEDULE - Our Summer Daily Mass schedule began on Monday May 27th and runs through Friday November 1st.  Holy Mass is celebrated in Fish Creek on Monday, Jacksonport on Tuesday, Egg Harbor on Wednesday followed by a Holy Hour, Sister Bay on Thursday and Baileys Harbor on Friday. All begin at 8:00 am.  Daily Mass is also celebrated each month on the 1st Saturday in Baileys Harbor at 8:00am preceded by the Rosary at 7:30am and on the 3rd Thursday in Sister Bay at 6:00pm preceded by a Holy Hour at 5:00pm.  Please join us!
 
A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS WEEKEND -  For the past ten years Stella Maris Parish has been blessed to have Fr. Art Heinze join us as a summer visiting priest. His presence and his homilies have been an inspiration to us all. Unfortunately, Father has decided that this is his last summer helping out at Stella Maris. His last Sunday Mass will be at 10am on Sunday October 6th in Jacksonport. This will be followed by a social hour in the Jacksonport Town Hall on Highway V, so everyone will have an opportunity to thank Father for his time with us. All are welcome to attend the social event if you attend a different Mass that weekend.
 
THIS WEEK - Updates regarding Medicare Advantage will be presented on Wednesday October 9th at our worship site in Sister Bay at 10:30am and 4:00pm. Contact the parish office with questions.   
 
MARK YOUR CALENDAR - For our Confirmation Retreat to the Shine on Saturday October 12th from 9:00am to 5:30pm.  Contact the parish office with questions.
 
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - We are seeking someone who will take care of the plants and help beautify the seasonal environment at our Egg HarborM church. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact our Worship Minister, Beth Screnock, or Lorie at the parish office.
 
LOVE TO SING? - YOU, too, could join the SMART Singers! We contribute to the beauty of the Mass about every three weeks, travelling and enjoying worship in our various churches. Our voices ring out as we enjoy the camaraderie, pray together, and praise the Lord in song, not to mention the many health benefits of the musical art of singing. Don't miss out on this winter season to join in this musical ministry! We welcome all who can sing (even if it is usually just in the shower!). Be smart, and join the SMART Singers of Stella Maris Parish! Grade: A+
 
THE HARBORETTES CLUB - Who share Home Community and Education (Homemakers) is sponsoring a Day of Mending on Saturday, October 26th from 9am to 1 pm at the Jacksonport Town Hall on County V. This is a service project that we do for the community. Our members with their sewing machines will be available to do your mending needs. Bring in clean clothing and linen items that need seams repaired, buttons sewed on, or patches applied. (No zippers.) We will also be having a Bake Sale and Buddy Pillows, Greeting cards and bags for sale to help with our various community projects. 
 
CAN YOU FILL A BOX? - Share the joy of Christmas with needy children around the world. “BOX OF JOY” is a Cross Catholic Outreach program. By filling a shoe box with small toys, clothing, hygiene items and school supplies, you can brighten the holiday for many children who rarely receive gifts. Shoe boxes and gift idea lists are provided at the church entries. Return filled boxes by November 3. Boxes will be blessed on November 10th. Shipping per box is $9. Please make checks out to Box of Joy. Thank you!
 
STEWARDSHIP 2024 - THANK YOU to all of you who share your Time & Talents in any way for Stella Maris Parish! Volunteering is a ministry! Year-round and seasonal parishioners, adults and youth all help our parish in many ways. To continue your good work, or to get involved, pick up a Ministry Opportunities brochure at church, fill in your information and drop the completed form in the Time & Talents box at one of the church sites. UNABLE TO ATTEND MASS? - All who are hospitalized or in an assisted living facilty, incarcerated, or otherwise physcially unable to attend Mass in person can still participate in celebration of the Holy Mass.  Please pray with us from wherever you are!
  • Mass is live streamed on the Stella Maris Facebook page from Stella Maris Parish beginning on the first Sunday of Advent at 8:00 am.

ONLINE GIVING

The following options are available to make financial giving easier on you, the parish, and the environment, by going green through electronic means.

The first option is electronic giving through the WeShare online giving platform.  The process is simple and safe.  For a printable WeShare giver's guide click here to learn how to use the online giving tool.

Once you understand how the process works, simply click on the "Donate Online" icon below to get started. 

 

The second option is authorize an automatic monthly withdrawal from your checking account.  If this is your preference, please click here, complete the form and return to the parish office.

The third option is to add Stella Maris Parish to you own online bill paying through your bank account.
