WINTER/SPRING WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE - Our Winter/Spring Weekend Mass schedule begins on Saturday December 9th and runs through Saturday April 20th, 2024. Saturday Masses will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Washington Island, 4:00 pm in Fish Creek and 6:00 pm in Jacksonport.  Sunday Masses will be celebrated at 8:00 am in Baileys Harbor and 10:00 am in Sister Bay.  Please join us!
 
WEEKEND MASS ON WASHINGTON ISLAND - From Saturday December 9th through April 20th, 2024, Holy Mass is celebrated at 10:30am on Saturdays at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1763 Townline Road on Washington Island.  Please contact Larry or Diane Kahlscheuer at (920)847-2289 or 920-535-0551 with questions or for more information. All are welcome!
 
WINTER/SPRING DAILY MASS SCHEDULE - Our Winter/Spring Daily Mass schedule begins Monday October 30th and runs through Friday May 17th.  Liturgy of The Word with Communion is offered in Fish Creek on Monday.  Holy Mass is celebrated in Jacksonport on Tuesday, Egg Harbor on Wednesday followed by a Holy Hour, Sister Bay on Thursday and Baileys Harbor on Friday. All begin at 8:00 am.  Daily Mass is also celebrated each month on the 1st Saturday in Baileys Harbor at 8:00am preceded by the Rosary at 7:30am and on the 3rd Thursday in Sister Bay at 6:00pm preceded by a Holy Hour at 5:00pm.  Please join us!
 
PLEASE NOTE - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED  - On Tuesday, April 16th, Mike Iversen will present “Why I Became a Catholic: A Conversion Story” at our Sister Bay site. We  will begin with a soup supper at 5:15 pm. The presentation will be in the church from 6-7 pm plus Q&A. Mike Iversen is the Director of Discipleship, Spiritus Ministries. He is an excellent speaker and eager to share his story with us. 
 
CAN YOU HELP? - During April, shampoo, deodorant, body soap, body wash and underwear and socks for ages 5 thru small adult are being collected for the Boys and Girls Club of Door County by the CSR committee. Collection bins will be located at the parish main entrances.
 
DOOR COUNTY RIGHT TO LIFE - Will present a program on "Embracing Dignity at the End Of Life" on Saturday, April 20, from 2-3:30 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 692 Tacoma Beach Road in Sturgeon Bay. The featured speaker will be Dr. Caitlyn Trader, Director of Bioethics at Wisconsin Right To Life. Dr. Trader is a theologian and bioethicist and a much sought after lecturer on this and many other subjects of interest to many people. COMING SOON - Mark Marathon: This is Liturgical Year "B" which focuses on the Gospel of Mark. Save the date for a video presentation of British actor David Suchet reading the entire book of Mark. It will be on Tuesday, May 7th beginning at 1:00pm in Fish Creek. It will take over 2 hours, so bring in your ball chair, a beverage, a sketch book, knitting or other and settle in for the listening. It's okay to drop by for only part of the viewing and you need not bring anything along. For more info Click Here to contact Beth Screnock.
 
ATTENTION COMMITTEE/GROUP LEADERS - Making you aware of an important gathering planned from 4:00-8:00pm on May 22 at our site in Sister Bay and yes this includes dinner. The gathering will include all our parish members that serve in a leadership role, including committee leaders, council members and others.  The Pastoral Council is in the process of planning this event, to be named the parish's 1st Annual Leadership Conference. Much of the discussion that has taken place in the preliminary planning meetings has centered on the viewpoint that we need to involve our committee and group leaders in our planning process. This message is to ensure that you as a leader of our parish have advance knowledge about this event and reserve the date so you can participate. In early April Fr. Tom will update the entire parish about this gathering and at that time detailed information will be sent to you.

UNABLE TO ATTEND MASS? - All who are hospitalized or in an assisted living facilty, incarcerated, or otherwise physcially unable to attend Mass in person can still participate in celebration of the Holy Mass.  Please pray with us from wherever you are!

  • Mass is live streamed on the Stella Maris Facebook page from Stella Maris Parish beginning on the first Sunday of Advent at 8:00 am.

ONLINE GIVING

The following options are available to make financial giving easier on you, the parish, and the environment, by going green through electronic means.

The first option is electronic giving through the WeShare online giving platform.  The process is simple and safe.  For a printable WeShare giver's guide click here to learn how to use the online giving tool.

Once you understand how the process works, simply click on the "Donate Online" icon below to get started. 

 

The second option is authorize an automatic monthly withdrawal from your checking account.  If this is your preference, please click here, complete the form and return to the parish office.

The third option is to add Stella Maris Parish to you own online bill paying through your bank account.
