FALL WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE NOW IN EFFECT - Our Fall Weekend Mass schedule began on Saturday October 25th and runs through Sunday December 7th, 2025. Saturday Masses will be celebrated at 4:00pm in Fish Creek and 6:00pm in Jacksonport. Sunday Masses will be celebrated at 8:00am in Baileys Harbor, 10:00am in Sister Bay and at 2:00pm on Washington Island. Please plan accordingly and join us!
FALL WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE ON WASHINGTON ISLAND - Our Fall Weekend Mass schedule for Washington Island also began on Sunday October 26th and runs through Sunday December 7th. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 2:00pm on Sundays at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1763 Townline Road on Washington Island. FALL/WINTER/SPRING DAILY MASS SCHEDULE - Our Fall/Winter/Spring Daily Mass schedule began on Monday October 27th, 2025 and runs through Friday May 22nd, 2026. Mondays will be Liturgy of the Word with Communion in Fish Creek. Holy Mass wil be celebrated in Jacksonport on Tuesdays, in Egg Harbor on Wednesdays followed by Holy Hour, in Sister Bay on Thursdays and in Baileys Harbor on Fridays. All begin at 8:00am.
BOX OF JOY - Our annual shoebox collection for needy children from around the world will run throughout the month of October. Beginning Saturday October 4th, empty shoeboxes and gift ideas will be provided at all parish worship site main entrances. Boxes collected will be blessed at the 10:00am Mass in Sister Bay on November 2nd. Contact the parish office with any questions.
ST. JOSEPH'S FALL FISH FRY - Will be held on Friday November 7th at St. Joseph's Social Hall from 4:40-7:00pm. Enjoy hand breaded fried Alaskan Snow Cod fillets, potatoe salad, fries, coleslaw and deserts. Hot dogs are available for the non-fish lovers. Price is $20 for a single order fish plate or $22 for a double order. Ages 7-10 are $8 and ages 6 and under eat free. Raffle tickets are also available at the door. St. Joseph's is located at 110 N. 5th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. Please join us.
VETERANS DAY EVENT - The Belgian Heritage Center on 1255 County Road DK in Brussels will host a Veterans Day event honoring the many Belgian Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces, some as far back as the Civil War. Festivities tale place on Saturday November 8th from 10:00am to 3:00pm with a presentation by Louise Endres Moore, author of "Alfred" at 1:00pm. All are welcome.
CATHEDRAL BOOK & GIFT - Is having a "Kids Catholic Story & Craft Time" on Saturday November 8th starting at 11:00am. This is a free event geared for kids ages 0-12, but all are welcome. This month, the book is " I am a Knight of Columbus" read by author J.J.Van and the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard.
CHRISTMAS FOR DOOR COUNTY KIDS - Help to make Christmas happier for less fortunate children in Northern Door County. New toys and games re being collected November 9th through December 7th. Items can be placed in the collection boxes at the main entries. Thank you for your generosity and God Bless you.
COATS FOR KIDS - The Sturgeon Bay Knights of Columbus and the Door County YMCAs are launching their Second annual "Coats for Kids" drive. The Knights have already purchased a number of new coats for the upcoming distributions at the Sturgeon Bay YMCA on November 1st and Fish Creek YMCA on November 8th. Kindly drop off any lightly used winter coats for toddlers to teens to either YMCA beginning on Monday September 8th. TIME & TALENT 2025 - As a multi-site parish, Stella Maris Parish works efficiently because precious volunteers who generously share their time and talent. The Stewardship Committee asks all volunteers past and present, as well as anyone who may have an interest, adult and youth, year-round and seasonal to participate in 2025.
