Worship and Spiritual LifeWe invite and welcome all to Stella Maris Parish as we come together in voice and hearts to worship God and participate in the Eucharist at our weekend, weekday and special liturgies.
Our current Mass schedule is printed on our home page and also in our weekly bulletin. We are always inviting and welcoming new liturgical ministers to Stella Maris. If you have an interest in the liturgical ministries of: Altar Servers, Sacristans, Lectors, Greeters, Ushers, Liturgical Art and Environment, Musicians, Choir Members and Cantors, please contact us: (920) 868-3241; email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Under Worship and Spiritual Life, the following information about the Sacraments is listed below:
The Sacrament of Baptism: Parents of infants are asked to contact the parish office at (920) 868-3241 to arrange their participation in the Baptism preparation program. This includes a couple of meetings with the Pastor or Deacon. A sponsor for Baptism should be at least 16 years old, baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church. A baptized non-Catholic may be chosen in addition to the Catholic sponsor. Parents may go through Baptism preparation before their child is born. The Baptism usually takes place during one of the weekend liturgies so the newest member of the Stella Maris family can be welcomed by the entire congregation.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation: The parish celebrates the Sacrament of Reconciliation at least twice a year during the Advent and Lenten Seasons. In addition, the pastor is (usually) available on Thursday evenings at Baileys Harbor from 5-6 pm.
The Sacrament of the Sick: Any person who is regularly confined to their home, or is temporarily confined after surgery or illness may have Holy Communion brought to their home. The Sacrament of the Sick can also be given periodically to persons confined to their home. Please contact the parish office for more details at (920) 868-3241. Thank you.
The Sacrament of Marriage: A faith-filled wedding is a joyful time for the couple and the parish. Our parish wants to have all weddings here be the best possible. The couple must meet with the pastor before a date can be reserved. Please contact the parish office, 920-868-3241 at least 12 months in advance to begin preparation.
